The E-DELON Gold Art Museum, opened in 2023, is dedicated to creating an art palace that inherits outstanding Chinese culture and promotes traditional gold-making craftsmanship. The museum's design concept is "harmony between man and nature," drawing artistic inspiration from the Song Dynasty, the pinnacle of Chinese art and culture, and incorporating a Chinese garden style into the overall design. All pieces in the museum are meticulously crafted using ancient gold-making techniques passed down for thousands of years, each representing a pinnacle of contemporary Chinese arts and crafts.

The museum houses masterpieces by national-level arts and crafts masters, which integrate various ancient techniques such as filigree, engraving, and hammering.

Master craftsmen have poured their ingenuity into these precious pieces of gold, fusing the essence of Eastern culture into the objects. These pieces possess both artistic and collectible value, making them golden art treasures that can be appreciated and passed down through generations.

The Dragon Boat Sets Sail

This artwork is modeled after the traditional dragon boat, with the hull shaped like a dragon playing with a pearl. Pavilions and towers stand facing each other on the platform, connected by an arched bridge, creating a beautiful and magnificent piece. The filigree sails flutter, symbolizing riding the wind and waves, and smooth sailing. The entire dragon boat is meticulously crafted using various techniques of filigree inlay, including pinching, filling, piling, stacking, weaving, braiding, assembling, and welding. Jade carvings of waves surge beneath the boat, and the overall structure is perfect, exquisitely crafted, and symbolizes the strength and stability of the motherland.

Qilin Presents Auspiciousness

The Qilin stands proudly atop a rosewood "Ruyi" (a type of scepter), its eyes made of dark jade, rich in color and smooth in texture, piercing and spirited. The entire piece is crafted using the filigree inlay technique, one of the eight unique skills of Beijing, with over 1,800 scales alone, inlaid with precious gemstones such as agate, turquoise, and lapis lazuli. The craftsmanship is exquisite and delicate, with distinct lines and layers, depicting the Qilin's form with meticulous detail and lifelike realism. "Qilin Offering Auspiciousness" embodies auspiciousness, grandeur, nobility, and brings wealth and good fortune.

Guanyin Bodhisattva of Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes

This Thousand-Armed and Thousand-Eyed Guanyin statue is modeled after the Qianlong-era wooden sculpture of the Thousand-Armed and Thousand-Eyed Guanyin at Puning Temple in Chengde. The statue takes the form of Guanyin holding a jade purity vase, standing over 2 meters tall including its base. A nine-dragon canopy crowns the statue, and its head, arms, hands and feet are all carved from mammoth ivory. Forty arms extend from each side of the body, each palm bearing a Dharma eye and holding a ritual implement, all exquisitely carved from mutton-fat white jade. The robe folds, flowing ribbons, Buddhist halo, canopy and lotus pedestal are cast in 24K pure gold, lending the whole statue solemnity and splendor.

Phoenix Splendor

The phoenix crown is inspired by Empress Xiaoduan’s six-dragon, three-phoenix crown of the Ming Dynasty, embodying imperial elegance and the auspicious symbolism of dragon and phoenix. Its two dragons and six phoenixes symbolize harmony, prosperity, and peace. Crafted with intricate filigree, gemstones, and gilded polychrome techniques, it celebrates women’s resilience and transformation. Blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics, the crown embodies the enduring beauty of Chinese culture and the timeless radiance of the phoenix crown.

The Rejuvenation of China

The “Rejuvenation of China” vase symbolizes national prosperity, peace, and good fortune. Adorned with kui dragons holding pearls, four elephant motifs, vibrant cloisonné floral patterns, and auspicious deer and magpies, it embodies traditional Chinese blessings. Combining filigree, cloisonné enamel, and gemstone inlay, the vase showcases exquisite Eastern craftsmanship. Limited to just 60 pieces worldwide, it is a rare collectible blending artistic elegance with profound cultural heritage.
